Retreat Time

3 Day Quilting Retreats.

Self Catered - Arrive 10.30 am Friday and leave and leave Sunday 4pm.

$190.00 per person - twin share

Minimum 6 ladies - maximum 9 ladies

On arrival you will receive a Devonshire Tea - Glenis makes the best scones. 

Percy or Glenis will thenshow you around Glenrose. 

You will staying in our cottages which are rated 4 1/2 star. 

All cottages have log fires, spa baths and air–conditioning.

The workroom is fully set up with tables, ironing boards and irons, two design walls, 

and a cutting table with cutting mats. 

Adjoining the work room is a brand new kitchen with oven,

 hotplates, microwave and dishwasher. 

We supply continental breakfasts each morning, leaving you to cater for lunch and dinner.

That’s one meal each if you have eight ladies on your retreat. 

Or if you wish dine out at one of our many restaurants.

The work room has two lounges, a wide screen TV and a selection 

of DVD’s. You and your friends can be sewing and watching movies 

or if you wish sneak back to the cottages for a afternoon nap.

The Patchwork shop is one of the best around and you have plenty of time to browse during your stay.

Yes I have been told over and over that I look relaxed..

Of course I would after having 2 weeks of Christmas Food, drinking and 

socializing has done me good.

Yesterday I enjoy a lovely lunch right through the night with one of my Closest Besties 

from School Cheryl. It was a lovely day. 

Spending time together is always memorable especially when we bring back the 

good old day memories..

Meet Patrizia on of our Vintage Chicks.

I was introduced to Patrizia by our Scrapbooking Queen Anna.

Patrizia has a talent for Scrapbooking and Card Making.

Not only does Patrizia create such amazing items but she is always there 

to lend a hand with a smile such as this photo.

We are blessed to have her in our Club for the past few years.

Meet Loris

Once in a while you do come across amazing people. 

Well I was blessed to have this Beautiful and Giving Lady Loris to have come into my life.

Our story begins when I was introduced to Loris at a Craft Shop in Moorooka.

From that day our Friendship blossomed!!!

Loris is such a talented lady in creating the most Beautiful Cards you have ever seen. 

Her inspiration travels from something Old to something New.

You can always depend on Loris to have something unique

 and Spectacular at the end of our Craft Days.

Now I would understand it if you did not want to join this Club, but at the end of the day I did say you needed to be a person that knows how to have fun.

Not much designing is happening in this class ladies.

Lets introduce you to The Vintage Chicks Committee.

On the left we have Freda our Quilting Queen, next to her we have Aspa Event Coordinator, in the middle we have Linda the Founder & Queen of Craft, and on the end we have Anna the Scrapbooking Queen. 

These ladies have been friends for the past 30 years and have created and bought a wonderful atmosphere to the group.

We look forward to meeting up with more Ladies in our group.
